Black And Gold Lumination (2017)
Taking into account the intimate atmosphere of the dining room and the requirements to emphasize the design of the bar with black and golden details, I have made a work that is decorative but also comforting. It is abstract in its appearance, but resemble a fireplace providing a cosy and relaxing atmosphere for conversations and discussions. It has a repetitive dark background with deep tones and light scratches that provide a great contrast to the golden fragments. The composition of the work is divided in three even parts where the 2/3 are filled with gold, corresponding to a geometrical solutions embodied in the architecture of the building itself, as its base also consists of three equal rectangles, where two external parts truncated at their tops are coming together but are divided by the central part.
