Transformations (2017)

Multi-layered images produced by mixing together several photographs in a collage technique. I have created a cut outs from the photographs of urban landscapes in E&C where new buildings are mixed with old traditional English houses. They were used as stencils through which the abstract and chaotic nature of creativity could be seen through. Everything was arranged in a dynamic compositions, having a vibrant coloured axis as a pulsing life centre, that is filtered through a rationally organised urban structures of the buildings. It is a continuation of my theme of building a Utopia that I implied in my previous works for 251 group. They reflect the new beginning for E&C brought by the renovation of the area and showing the future of collaboration between contrasting features of this place, of which 251 building became a part of.
